TW actually does have some dramatic death animations of soldiers kneeling before they die but thats all. There's absolutely no wounded units agonizing on the ground.
I love RTS games like Total War and citybuilders alike, and I got absolutely astonished by this game! However, like in many games of the genre that I've played in my lifetime, I really miss the fact that all soldiers in a battle just die when a fatal blow is inflicted. I know this is a relatively old video but I would like to use this space to make a suggestion in hope that RepublicOfPlay may see this someday.
